Stricter CO2 emission criteria for light commercial vehicles
19th May 2022
Members of Euroepan Parliament (MEPs) have proposed even stricter CO2 emission criteria for new cars and vans (light commercial vehicles), which will help meet the EU's climate policy targets - zero road emissions on roads by 2035.
MEPs want the European Commission to develop a methodology to estimate CO2 emissions, fuel consumption and energy throughout the life cycle of a light commercial vehicle.
