Alpe Adria Green (AAG) has been providing free environmental legal advice to civil initiatives and individuals facing environmental problems due to past or planned excessive environmental interventions within the AAG Environmental Center for the past 5 years. In addition to advising at AAG, we also want to show the general public possible tools and activities to protect their rights to a healthy and quality living environment.

Thus, at the end of 2020, in the public tender COMM/SUBV/2020/E, published by the European Parliament of the EU #togetherEU (Slovene #skupajsmoEU), we managed to obtain funds for the project Enviromental Applicable Law Online Platform. The main goal of the project is to prepare an online communication tool that will present to the general public in the field of SE Europe the possibilities of exercising the right to a healthy environment through the tools of the European Union.
 
The goal of the project is to set up either a web tab or a new website within the main AAG website. The product will present in one place all relevant information regarding the possibility of participation of the general public in EU procedures in the field of environmental protection, such as:
 
- a set of possible ways of public participation in solving environmental problems, key information and links to relevant tools for the protection of human rights to a clean and healthy environment,
 
- a set of written sources in the form of EU legal acts (regulations, directives) in the field of environmental and nature protection, a set of case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union,
 
- presentation of environmental policies adopted at EU level, declarations and other overarching acts,
 
- publishing daily news on current events at the EU level regarding the adoption and treatment of solutions and issues related to environmental issues.

The project will end in June 2022. Even after the end of the project, all collected information and links, which will be regularly maintained and updated, will be available to the interested public on the set online platform.
