First Nature restoration law in EU

The European Parliament has started negotiations with the Council on the adoption of the first regulation on nature restoration in the history of the EU. The regulation follows the European Green Deal and scientific recommendations for the restoration of European ecosystems, which are essential to combat climate change and biodiversity loss and reduce risks to food security.
