Do you know the quality of the bathing water you swim in?

The European Environment Agency (EEA) has published a report on the state of bathing water in EU member states, Switzerland and Albania. 21,973 bathing waters (coastal and inland) were assessed for 2022. More than 95% of all bathing facilities in Cyprus, Austria, Greece and Croatia received the highest rating for 2022 – excellent quality. The worst rated were the bathing waters of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia and Albania. In Slovenia, 47 bathing waters were analyzed, and they received a total of 78.7%.
