Request a document outside the Register
The Public Register of Documents is a register that provides direct access to electronic documents of the European Parliament. However, there are a number of European Parliament documents that cannot be accessed directly through the register, so a request must be made. These are mainly documents created before 2001. The request for access to the document must be submitted via an electronic form, without the need to justify the reason for access. The applicant will receive a response to the request from the European Parliament within 15 working days. If access to the document is granted, the document will also be published in The Public Register of Documents.
