PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICABLE LAW ONLINE PLATFORM

Simplify existing EU rules
Fit for Future (F4F) is a platform designed to simplify existing EU rules and reduce regulatory burdens. The F4F platform is part of the REFIT program, which seeks better regulation through contributions from citizens and other stakeholders.
Interested (regardless of nationality or place of residence) can participate in the platform by sharing their ideas, ideas and arguments about existing EU rules, but they can also suggest new topics.
As the platform operates on the basis of the annual work program and the topics of the annual program have already been selected, it is necessary to send proposals by 30 April if we want the proposals to be considered in the same year as the published annual program. All proposals submitted after 30 April will be considered for the following year's work program.
All proposals, if they are not offensive and comply with the rules, senders of the proposal will receive a response.
Proposals aimed at simplifying regulations will not be considered if:
- are already under consideration in the European Parliament and the Council in the legislative procedure,
- concern legislation that has been implemented for less than two years (the effects and conclusions of implementation are difficult to assess due to the short deadline for implementing the new legislation),
- concern matters falling within national competence (with the exception of issues relating to several EU Member States),
- this is a matter which is already the subject of planned or ongoing consultations with the social partners.
To submit proposals on the platform, registration is required, and later only log in. When giving opinions, the user (natural or legal person) has the option to choose whether the proposal will be published with personal data or anonymously. Those interested can see the content of the suggestions received.
