European External Action Service
is the EU diplomatic service based in Brussels, responsible for:
- managing diplomatic relations and strategic partnerships between the EU and other countries,
- implementation of EU foreign and security policy.
The European External Action Service is headed by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, who is also Vice-President of the European Commission. The Service has its representations or delegations all over the world.
The tasks of the Service are in the field of:
